Pond Loops:
Pond loops are most useful when there is a half acre of land that includes an 8 ft. deep pond or lake on the property. A trench is dug to close the system, and to bring it up to the building. The pipe is laid in a trench and connected tocoils at the bottom of the water. Geothermal Pond Loops are economically efficient, because they use water-to-water heat transferal.
